Pregnancy Stretch Marks Prevention Routine Using Linda Mami Products

In this blog I will share with you a great short beauty routine for preventing stretch marks that worked for me during my twin pregnancy using Linda Mami natural products. Before starting with the routine, I want to take a moment to address an important issue. I know that stretch marks is a topic that worries and can even scare some moms, so I want to remind you a few things:

  • Stretch marks or not, you are perfect the way you were created, and I really hope you believe that you are. Love and take care of yourself, uplift your spirit, have positive thoughts, clean your emotions, eat healthy and continue to nourish and pamper your skin with non-toxic products.

  • Obsessing or feeling ashamed of your body is a total waste of your vital and creative energy.

  • Stretch marks happen regularly during pregnancy and there are several factors that can contribute to their appearance including genetics, hormones and taking cortisone medicines for a long period of time.

  • If you get stretch marks, even doing this skincare routine, don’t stop! The products will keep nourishing, moisturizing and soothing your stretching skin and since the oil contains Copaiba Balsam, a great natural cicatrizer with anti-inflammatory properties, it will help improve your skin’s appearance faster during post-natal stage.

Ok! We are ready for the short routine!

Step 1: Apply Linda Mami Body Oil every morning to your whole body as a skin moisturizer. Pay special attention to your belly, thighs, hips, lower back and breasts. Linda Mami Body Oil is a fast absorption oil so it will dry pretty fast and leave your skin feeling smooth, moisturized, looking great and smelling even better.

Note: Please remember to shake the product before each application. This is very important because the oil contains vegetable glycerin and doesn’t have any emulsifying agent in it.  You need to do this step before applying the oil so that all the ingredients are well mixed, and the product yields better results.

Step 2: At noon, use Linda Mami Premium Body Lotion to keep moisturizing and feeding your skin with amazing ingredients. Remember to pay special attention to belly, thighs, hips, lower back and breasts. This lotion is great because it is also a high performing moisturizer designed to help soothe itchy skin.

When the skin starts stretching there is a high probability that it will get itchy. If this happens don’t scratch the area. Instead, apply a little bit of the lotion to the palm of your hand and gently rub the affected area with circular massage. Use it whenever your skin feels itchy. Breathe in and breathe out!

Note:  This product has two sizes. You can use the 8 oz bottle for home and put the 4 oz bottle inside your purse so that you can use it while on the road.

Step 3: In the evening, take a relaxing bath and after it apply our Natural Body Butter (remember the special areas!). This product is a super powerful cocktail of vitamins and nutrients that will stay in the skin longer allowing more time for the ingredients to work on your skin. If you don’t have the Natural Body Butter use Linda Mami Body Oil instead. If you live in the cold, you can put Linda Mami Body Oil first, wait 10 minutes and then apply the Natural Body Butter on top. This technique will give you extra nourishment and protection for your skin.

Remember that all our products can also be used during your post-natal recovery. My twins are now 6 years old and I still use the Natural Body Butter as my daily moisturizer. I love it! It leaves my skin smooth like silk and with a beautiful glowing look.
